There was a fatal motorcycle accident in Chicago’s Edgebrook neighborhood this morning (September 26, 2013).
The accident involved a motorcyclist who was hit by an SUV at approximately 7:26 a.m., in the 6400 block of North Navajo Avenue.
At the time of the collision, the SUV had been traveling south on Navajo when it hit the motorcycle, which had been traveling west on Devon.
According to Chicago Police, a motorist, identified as a 67-year-old man from Skokie, was cited for failure to yield the right-of way at the intersection.
The motorcyclist, Omar Posos, 35, of Chicago, was taken to Resurrection Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
