Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Buffalo Grove

There was a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon (October 23, 2016) in Buffalo Grove.

Details regarding this fatal crash are somewhat limited.  The cause of the crash does not appear to be publicly disclosed at this time.

According to Buffalo Grove Police, the accident happened at approximately 1:20 p.m., at Aptakisic Road and Twin Oaks Boulevard, which is shown below:

Following the accident, the motorcyclist – identified as Eugene Lapir, 29, of Vernon Hills, was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center (Libertyville) for treatment of his accident injuries.  He later died.

The driver of the car was also injured and taken to a hospital for treatment of accident injuries.
