There was a fatal Illinois motorcycle accident Saturday morning (July 15, 2017) in Macon County.
The crash, which involved only the motorcycle, happened at 1:16 a.m. on Illinois Route 121 and North Lincoln Memorial Parkway, between Warrensburg and Latham.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle ran off the north side of Route 121, and both were ejected from the motorcycle.
The male motorcyclist and female passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment of accident injuries. The female passenger, identified by the Macon County Coroner as Anna Roberts, 53, of Manito, died from her accident injuries.
This fatal Illinois motorcycle accident remains under investigation by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit.
