There was a fatal motorcycle accident Monday afternoon (July 20, 2015) in Franklin County, Illinois.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the accident involved an off-road motorcycle and a “four-wheeler” ATV.
The collision between the two vehicles happened at 4:25 p.m. at the intersection of Camp Hope Road and Kettemen Lane.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Zach Dungy, 13. He was airlifted to a local hospital where he later died from his accident injuries.
The rider of the ATV, a 16-year-old male, was also taken to an area hospital.
The investigation into this fatal Illinois motorcycle accident is continuing.
