There was a fatal motorcycle crash Monday morning (February 20, 2017) in Glendale Heights. The crash involved a collision between a motorcycle and car.
Details on the crash are somewhat limited. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
According to the Glendale Heights Police Department, first responders went to the accident scene at 11:18 a.m. The collision happened on Schmale Road, north of Fullerton Avenue.
The motorcyclist, later identified as Arian Haliti, 26, of Carol Stream, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove for treatment of his accident injuries. He died there.
The 69-year-old woman driving the car declined medical treatment at the accident scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Glendale Heights Police Department and the DuPage County Accident Reconstruction Team.
