There was a fatal motorcycle crash early Friday morning (July 7, 2017) on the Bishop Ford Freeway on Chicago’s Far South Side.
This motorcycle accident involved a motorcycle loss of control.

Edward M. Lopez, 27, was driving a black Yamaha motorcycle at a high speed on northbound I-94 near the Beaubien Forest Preserve when he lost control at 2:35 a.m., according to a statement from Illinois State Police.
The motorcycle then left the roadway to the right, into grassy brush, and Lopez was ejected from the motorcycle.
Lopez was taken to Christ Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
