Whenever a person is involved in a vehicle accident, whether that person has been hurt is a primary consideration. While many accident injuries will be apparent – i.e. they will exhibit some type of symptom – there are many types of serious injuries that may not be apparent immediately after the crash. Among these serious injuries that may not immediately exhibit symptoms are head injuries and internal bleeding.

Additional discussion of why it is important to get a thorough medical exam after being involved in a vehicle accident can be found on the “Reasons For Getting A Medical Exam After A Motorcycle Accident” page. As seen on that page, there are many reasons – both from a medical and legal perspective – for getting the medical exam.
