There was a car-motorcycle collision on Tuesday (August 16, 2016) in Madison County. The collision happened near Highland. The accident was a hit & run collision in which a woman has been charged.
The collision happened at 11:30 p.m., and involved a Jeep Cherokee hitting a motorcyclist on a parked motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was identified as Josh Doerr, 31, of Pocahontas. He was flown to a St. Louis hospital for treatment of his accident injuries.

The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was identified as Christy G. Cummins, 37, of Carlyle. She was charged with aggravated DUI as well as failure to report an accident with an injury.
