A motorcycle was struck from behind by a car on August 24 in Geneva, Illinois.
The accident occurred on West State Street near McKinley Avenue at about 5:00 p.m. A Honda Civic driven by Daniel Garcia, 20, of West Chicago drove into the motorcycle (a Harley FLHX) ahead of him driven by Timothy Coopec, 52, of Batavia.
According to reports, the accident occurred in slow traffic. After the accident, Coopec pulled into a nearby driveway, yet the Civic left the scene. Garcia later told police he left the accident scene as he was late for work.
