There was an Aurora motorcycle crash after which the rider died. The rider was found by Aurora Police early Monday (August 20, 2018) morning.
Details on the accident appear limited at this time. At this time it is unknown as to what caused the crash.
Aurora Police found the motorcyclist, who was later identified as Rodney Shackleford, 48, of Naperville, in a ditch near the intersection of North Eola Road and South McCoy Drive. His motorcycle, a 1986 Kawasaki Voyager, was found near him.
Aurora Police performed CPR on Shackleford until paramedics got to the accident scene. Shackleford was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his accident injuries. He died shortly after.
