There was a fatal motorcycle accident Monday night (May 30, 2016) near Augustana College in Rock Island.
An excerpt from the qconline.com article of May 31, 2016, titled “Moline man dies after motorcycle hits guardrail near Augustana Monday night“:
The accident happened just after 8 p.m. Monday when a 2015 BMW motorcycle driven by Alisher Bakhriddin, of Moline, hit the guardrail at 38th Street and 5th Avenue, according to Rock Island Deputy Police Chief Jason Foy.
Bakhriddin, 24, of Moline, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his accident injuries. According to Rock Island Coroner Brian Gustafson he was pronounced dead at 11:11 p.m. Gustafson said the preliminary cause of death was multiple injuries to the chest, pelvis and abdominal area.
This fatal Illinois motorcycle accident remains under investigation by the Rock Island Police Department and the Rock Island County Coroner’s Office.
