Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained In Motorcycle Accident On Chicago’s Northwest Side

A woman died this afternoon from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident this morning on Chicago’s Northwest Side.

Details are limited at this time; however, it is being reported that her motorcycle collided with another vehicle shortly before 8:00 a.m. as she was heading east on Montrose.  The accident happened in the 4400 block of West Montrose Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

During the accident, the woman was thrown from her motorcycle.  She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic hospital and later, at 1:21 p.m., pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
