There was a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon (September 9, 2017) in Henry County. The accident happened on U.S. Route 150 near Lynn Center.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the office was notified of the crash at 2:23 p.m.
Details on the cause of the crash does not appear to be publicly disclosed. The accident involved a group of motorcycles that were heading southbound on U.S. Route 150 at IL-81 when two motorcycles crashed. Three people – including a motorcyclist and passenger on one bike, and a rider of another – were injured during the crash and taken to hospitals.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Orion Division, the Illinois State Police, the Orion, Osco and Oxford Fire Departments, Medforce Air Ambulance, Genesis paramedics and Tri-County Ambulance Service.
An accident investigation and accident reconstruction is ongoing.
