Motorcyclist Seriously Injured During Accident On Chicago’s Southwest Side

Last night, August 21, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood on Chicago’s Southwest Side.

Details of the motorcycle accident are limited at this time; however, according to Chicago Police reports, the accident occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Archer Avenue.

The motorcyclist, a 39 year old man, collided with a Honda Civic when one of the vehicles was making a left hand turn.

The injured motorcyclist was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he was reported to be in critical condition.
