There was an Illinois motorcycle accident Wednesday night (July 29, 2015) in Yorkville.
The accident happened at 8:39 p.m., and involved a motorcycle being struck by a pickup truck that made a left-hand turn immediately in front of the path of the motorcycle. The collision happened in the 11000 block of Fox Road.
The motorcyclist was identified as Daniel Diguido, 49, of Yorkville. He was airlifted from the accident scene and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 2006 Honda Ridgeline, was identified as Alan Duggan, 71, of Yorkville.

The Yorkville Police are still investigating the accident. Duggan was cited for failing to yield while turning left.
