There was a motorcycle collision Saturday (August 1, 2015) in Ingleside, Illinois in which a motorcyclist was injured.
The accident involved a collision between a motorcycle and Jeep on Route 59.
An excerpt from the Daily Herald article of August 2, 2015 titled “Motorcyclist in critical condition after Ingleside crash“:
According to Lake County Sheriff’s police, the motorcyclist was driving a 1985 Santee custom motorcycle eastbound on Route 59 approaching North Wilson Road and a westbound 2002 Jeep Liberty turned left at the intersection and struck the bike.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike during the accident. He was taken to Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville for treatment of his accident injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
This motorcycle accident remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
