An Illinois personal injury lawsuit has been filed regarding a motorcycle accident that happened in October 2013 in Channahon.
The underlying motorcycle accident involved a motorcycle, with a passenger, allegedly crashing after hitting grass clippings that were dumped on the street.
The lawsuit was filed by the passenger of the motorcycle, and the defendants are the motorcyclist as well as two Channahon residents.
The motorcycle accident and lawsuit are discussed in the Joliet Patch article of October 7, 2015, titled “Plainfield Woman Injured In Motorcycle Wreck Claims Discarded Grass Clippings Caused Crash: Lawsuit.”
An excerpt from the article:
Kelsi Schrock, 24, of Plainfield was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by 31-year-old Naperville resident Eric Zetterlof when they wrecked on Leslie Drive in Channahon in October 2013, the lawsuit said.
Zetterlof was negligent and to blame for the crash, according to the lawsuit, but so was the Channahon couple who allegedly dumped grass clippings in the street.
Additional details and possible updates concerning this Illinois lawsuit can be seen in a variety of media sources, including the Joliet Patch article mentioned above.
