There was a fatal Chicago motorcycle accident Monday afternoon (July 20, 2015) in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
The motorcycle accident happened at approximately 1:15 p.m., as the motorcycle was traveling northbound in the 7300 block of North Western, and it collided with a Toyota Camry that was traveling south.

The motorcyclist may have been driving recklessly at the time of the crash, police said.
Both the motorcyclist and the motorcycle passenger were injured, as was the driver of the Camry.
The motorcycle passenger was identified as Lauren Lohan, 23, of Wheeling. She was taken to Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, she was declared dead at 3:53 p.m.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a 31-year-old man, was also taken to Presence St. Francis Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries. He was reported to be in critical condition as of Monday night.
The driver of the Camry, identified as a 41-year-old woman, was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital.
The Chicago Police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
