There was a fatal motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon (August 23, 2016) in Streamwood. The accident involved a collision between a SUV and motorcycle.
Details on the accident appear limited. The official cause of the crash does not seem to be currently available.
An excerpt from the Chicago Sun-Times article of August 24, 2016, titled “Motorcyclist killed in Streamwood crash“:
The Honda motorcycle and a 2004 Nissan SUV were both heading east in the 400 block of Lacy Avenue about 4:50 p.m. when the motorcycle struck the SUV, according to Streamwood police.
The motorcyclist was ejected during the collision. He was identified as Ryan Hail, 28, of Streamwood. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Nissan has only been identified as a 42-year-old woman. She was reported to be not seriously injured during the collision.
