There was a fatal motorcycle accident Friday night (August 25, 2017) in Plainfield.
Details regarding the accident are somewhat limited. The cause of the accident does not appear to be publicly disclosed at this time.
According to officials, the motorcycle accident involved a collision between a motorcycle and van at approximately 11:00 p.m. The accident scene was near the intersection of Route 59 and Dayfield Drive.
The motorcyclist, identified as Johnson D. Ho, of Plainfield, 18, of Plainfield. He died at the accident scene. At the time of the accident, he was wearing a motorcycle helmet.

Preliminary results from an autopsy performed Saturday showed Ho suffered multiple injuries from the crash, according to the coroner’s office. The autopsy did not rule on his final cause and manner of death pending further study.
The occupants of the van refused medical treatment at the accident scene.
