There was a fatal motorcycle collision Saturday (July 2, 2016) in Hoffman Estates. The accident involved a motorcycle colliding with another vehicle. Media sources differ as to whether the other vehicle was a SUV or pickup truck.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m., at Route 72 and Huntington Boulevard, as pictured below:
Details regarding the collision appear to be limited at this time. The motorcyclist, who died at the accident scene has been identified as Brandon Canales, 30, of Schaumburg.
However, the reason for the crash does not appear to have been publicly disclosed.
The driver and passengers of the other vehicle were not injured.

According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Canales died from multiple injuries. The death was ruled an accident.
The crash remains under investigation by the Hoffman Estates Police Department.
