There was a fatal motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon (August 18, 2013) in Geneva, Illinois.
The accident happened on Kautz Road, at approximately 2:46 p.m.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was turning north on Kautz Road from Illinois Route 83, when – for unknown reasons – he lost control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle then hit a tree after leaving the roadway.
The motorcyclist, James R. Stevens, 58, of St. Charles, was taken to Central DuPage Hospital, and pronounced dead.
