Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Chatsworth

There was a fatal motorcycle accident Monday (August 22, 2016) in Chatsworth.

Details on the accident appear limited at this time.  The cause of the accident has apparently not yet been publicly disclosed.

The accident happened at approximately 5:45 p.m., and the collision involved a motorcycle that collided with a van at Fourth Street and U.S. 24.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the accident scene.  He was identified as Richard Gasman, 51, of Hortonville, WI.

The accident remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
