Fatal Moline, Illinois Motorcycle Crash

There was a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday evening (September 13, 2015) in Moline.

The crash only involved a motorcycle.  The motorcyclist, identified as Christopher D. Anderson, 41, of Moline, was declared dead at the accident scene.

An excerpt from the September 14, 2015 qconline.com article titled “Victim of fatal motorcycle crash identified as Moline man“:

Police said Mr. Anderson was southbound on a 2010 BMW motorcycle when he crashed into a tree in the 2500 block of 19th Street about 6:20 p.m. Sunday. They said Mr. Anderson was traveling at a high rate of speed and was not wearing a helmet. No other vehicles were involved.

The Rock Island Coroner said that Anderson died of multiple traumatic injuries.
