Fatal Madison County Motorcycle Crash On Illinois 157

There was a fatal Madison County motorcycle crash Wednesday (May 9, 2018) morning on Illinois 157 and Hazel Road.  The motorcyclist died at the accident scene.

According to information provided by the Illinois State Police, the motorcyclist was riding southbound on Illinois 157 when the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.  The motorcycle crashed into a ditch, and the motorcyclist was ejected during the crash.  Illinois State Police first responded to the accident at 6:10 a.m.

The motorcyclist was identified as Joshua Renfrow, 26.
