There was a fatal Kendall County motorcycle accident Saturday (May 5, 2018) night in Plano. The motorcyclist was injured during the crash and the passenger died at the accident scene. The crash appears to have involved a motorcycle loss of control.

Plano police said officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at 6:43 p.m. Saturday evening, May 5, in the 1200 block of Little Rock Road, between Vilmin and Galena roads.
Police said an initial investigation showed that a 2007 Honda CBR1000 motorcycle went off the road into a field where both the driver and passenger were ejected from the bike.
The passenger on the motorcycle was identified as Hayley A. West, 22, of Glendale Heights. According to Kendall County Coroner Jacquie Purcell, she was pronounced dead on the scene.
The motorcyclist was identified as Kevin A. Pokosa, 38, of Plano. He was seriously injured in the accident, and flown to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove for treatment of his accident injuries. He was in critical condition.
