There was a fatal Illinois motorcycle accident late Saturday night (August 1, 2015) on Interstate 57 (I-57) on Chicago’s Far South Side.
According to the Illinois State Police (ISP) the accident happened on southbound I-57 near 119th Street.
The accident involved a motorcycle colliding with two cars sometime shortly before midnight.
The male motorcyclist and the female passenger were ejected during the accident. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The female passenger was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center for treatment of her accident injuries.
Also taken to a hospital was a female driver of one of the cars.
This fatal motorcycle accident continues to be under investigation.
