There was a fatal motorcycle accident Monday night (September 25, 2017) in Elmhurst. The accident involved a collision between a motorcycle and a SUV.
Details on the accident appear somewhat limited at this time. The cause of the crash does not seem to be publicly disclosed at this time.
The collision occurred at the intersection of North Avenue and Berteau Avenue. First responders went to the accident scene at 9:10 p.m.
The motorcyclist was seen to have massive head injuries. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office as Ivanny Mendez-Perez, 28, of Berwyn.
The accident investigation is being conducted by the Elmhurst Police Department, DuPage County Accident Reconstruction Team, and DuPage County Coroner’s Office.
