There was a fatal motorcycle accident Tuesday night (October 6, 2015) on the Edens Expressway in Skokie.
According to the Illinois State Police (ISP), the accident happened at approximately 10:57 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Old Orchard Road.
At that time, a collision occurred between a car and the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to NorthShore University HealthSystem Evanston Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries. He died after being taken to the hospital.
According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, the motorcyclist was identified as Andrew Larsen, 20, of Antioch.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
