There was a motorcycle accident Thursday morning (June 25, 2015) in Evanston in which a motorcyclist was injured.
The accident happened sometime before 8:15 a.m. According to Evanston Police, the accident involved a motorcyclist traveling northbound on Chicago Avenue “rear-ending” a car, at which point the motorcycle went into the southbound lanes and was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound.
The motorcyclist was identified only as a 44-year-old resident of Chicago.
The motorcyclist was taken to St. Francis Hospital for treatment of his accident injuries, which were not considered to be major injuries.
